If you read that particular review back in May you know we fell madly in love with Alto Cucina. The staff..the food...the location (minutes walk from the beach)... what's not to love?

Once you experience Alto's the gravitational force of the restaurant pulls you in as soon as you walk by. We're not complaining. We had another excellent experience at Alto's on our repeat visit. We don't do do these "repeat visits" very often, do we?

With work and school...most of our free time is dedicated to checking out new restaurants. 

The food scene is growing exponentially in Brisbane. But sometimes it's always nice to take a break, relax and visit a place you love.

We sat in the same exact booth as last time and were greeted by the same friendly and extremely knowledgeable waitress as before. Last time we chose the majority of our meals for ourselves. This time we were keen to know what dishes the chef (and our waitress) highly recommended. So we left ourselves completely in their hands.

If you are feeling adventurous give it a try. If you have a fantastic waitress or waiter (like we did) she will typically ask a few questions to get a general idea of what you like.

Our waitress did very well. The dishes she chose complimented each other perfectly. 

Alto Cucina is one restaurant we feel extremely comfortable recommending to all of our friends.
