Innovation & Imagination: Artie & Mai's New Menu is Something Special!

Artie & Mai's is one of Brisbane's best kept dining secrets.

We didn't know much about this Albion eatery when were invited along to a new menu launch dinner a few weeks ago.

Crispy Pork Belly, Maple Caramel, and Pickled Apple

As soon as we stepped through the door we became infatuated with the place. The Rustic, Parisian-esq decor is enough to make any heart swoon. We are suckers for exposed brick.

Little did we know we were about to embark on one of our most memorable, and soul tingling food journeys to date.

Pan Seared Scallops, morcilla, pea puree, bacon popcorn 

By day the Artie & Mai menu is made up of traditional breakfasts and lunch dishes.

When the sun goes down the menu consists of small plates, pizzas, and large plates. Shared dining is highly encouraged at Artie & Mai but they also have something for the solo diners.

Hamhock and Broadbean Terrine

On this occasion we got to taste the new dinner menu. Artie & Mai are truly in a league of their own. They aren't afraid to try something different. If you are sick of "same, same" we highly recommend checking out Artie & Mai.

Beef Sirloin 

The food is incredibly innovative and imaginative. The owner of Artie & Mai admitted to us that when they first opened their doors the menu was so "out there" that people were a bit hesitant to try it.

Roasted Barra, Potato, Clams, Mussels 

That's a thing of the past now...Artie & Mai has found the perfect balance. Yes, they have your old favourites but with an Artie & Mai twist!
