Recipe | Orange Blossom Chia Seed Pudding

Before we jump into the recipe we'd like to introduce you to Dipal from De_Palate! You've no doubt drooled over her food pics before, as she hops around Brisbane's best restaurants on Instagram... But what you may not be aware of is that she is a very passionate cook. Yes, some of those food pics you've bee salivating over came from her own kitchen!!!

We are happy to have her here today sharing one of her beautiful, and healthy recipes. So without further ado...

Orange Blossom Chia Seed Pudding


¼ cup chia seeds
1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
1 teaspoon pure maple syrup or honey or rice malt syrup
1 teaspoon orange blossom water*

Combine all the ingredients in a jar/container and shake/stir well, until combined. Place in the fridge and allow to gel for 30 minutes, then stir/shake again, and return to the fridge for at least an hour more, preferably overnight. Layer with the chia pudding if desired or just serve with some fresh figs and toasted pistachios.

*If you have not used orange blossom water before, then I would suggest you start with ½ teaspoon first and then add more if required. You could also use rose water instead of orange blossom.
