This Weekend: Paniyiri Greek Festival 2016

Honey Puffs, and Lamb on a Spit, and Feta Cheese - Oh my! The ultimate celebration of all things GREEK takes place on Saturday and Sunday at Musgrave Park & The Greek Club.

Brisbane's famous Paniyiri Greek Festival will have the town buzzing this weekend with it's action packed program to mark it's 40th anniversary. What was started in 1976 by a group of passionate Greek Australians has over four decades grown to be an iconic Queensland celebration of all things Greek. Fun fact: It is the state's largest cultural festival as well as the country's longest running Greek festival. More than 60,000 people are expected to make their way to Musgrave park this weekend to take part in the festivities and you should be one of them!
