We Try: Chu The Phat | Fish Lane

Chu the Phat Brisbane's is the newest addition to the Fish Lane dining precinct.

Taking inspiration from the hawker stalls of Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan, Chu the Phat, is a delicious addition to Fish Lane's repertoire of restaurants.

Chu the Phat is the younger sibling of Madame Wu so were expecting great things on our first official visit. The menu us made up of snacks, bread, starters, vegetables, stir-fried dishes, noodles and rice, mains, and a handful of classic Asian desserts (deep fried icecream). Although the menu isn't massive, it makes up for it's size with bold, authentic flavours. A credit to executive Chef Brendon Barker!

Our highlights from the menu, that we HIGHLY recommend you try are: Pork & Kimchi Springrolls, Fried Chicken, and (the star of the show) Smoked & Fried Half Duck with Green Chilli Sauce. SO DELICIOUS!
